Cancellation Notice

AWANA for Wednesday, January 26 will be cancelled due to the closing of Augusta County schools, as outlined in the inclement weather policy.

In Your Face Night

This was a night to remember! The top 2 earners of points in each club (for reciting bible verses, wearing uniform, coming to club, etc.) got to put a pie in the face of Commander Rob. Then, the next 2 beyond that in each club with the highest points got to have a water gun show-down with their leader.

Awana Store Night

Kids had a great time spending their Awana bucks that they've earned so far this year! They also got to hear from Ms. Carolyn, a missionary in Ghana, West Africa, about the work they are doing there.

Wednesday is Rock Night! God is the solid rock we can stand on firmly. We'll be writing verses on rocks that will remind us throughout the year that God is our foundation. God and Awana Rocks!

Noah's Ark Night

Noah's Ark night brought out a lot of animals to Awana club night. There were tigers, birds, giraffes, and even butterflies!

A Great Start to the 2010-11 Year!

It's been a great start to the new Awana year! Orientation night was excellent, and we were happy to have so many kids and their parents there. Our first official club night was CRAZY HAIR NIGHT! Were there ever some crazy hairstyles!

AWANA Starts September 1!

We're getting ready for the start of the 2010-11 AWANA program at New Covenant Community Church! This blog will provide ongoing information, updates, weather cancellations (we need a break after last year!) and any other pertinent information relating to the AWANA program at NC3. It is our hope that you will find this to be a useful resources during the year.
